In close collaboration with the homeowners, Bryan Fuchs the contractor and Columbus management interior design, we took this 1940’s story and a half home and converted it into a contemporary Clayton home! The first floor was opened up for flow and light, combining the Kitchen, Dining Room and Living Room into an open space for everyday living – or for entertainment. The balance of the first floor became a Study and a Master Suite. The roof was removed and replaced with a more spacious half story that provides 3 Bedrooms and a bathroom, and over the main living space, a vaulted ceiling with recessed dormers bringing natural light in.
The previous tuck under garage became usable basement space and we added a below-grade garage with a live roof system with patio above!
Couple these changes with new finishes inside and out, and you have one remarkable remodel in the heart of Clayton’s “Clayton Gardens” neighborhood!
