This extensive renovation of a home in Chesterfield was a stylish update improving the function and layout.
Our designers and architects worked out a plan to transform a well-built but dated home with a blend of contemporary design touches, highly functional additions and aesthetic components and millwork grounded in classical design principles.

Our architectural and design team updated the lighting scheme using can lights, natural lighting and stylish fixtures. The large spaces were visually expanded with blonde hardwood throughout all living spaces and the kitchen and spacious pantry. Built-in storage dramatically reduced clutter and even allowed collections to be on display. Recreation areas benefitted by improved layout, lighter colors and dramatic lighting.
The kitchen update included dark shaker-style cabinetry and contemporary pulls with beautiful natural stone countertops contrasting with the dark colors of the lower cabinets. Dramatic tile backsplash, a chef’s stove and an ample working island allow the cook to prepare meals as well as socialize with family and guests.
A spacious pantry with lots of cabinet space and shelf storage allows the family to keep plenty of victuals on hand.
The mix of contemporary and classic features continue into the remodeled bathrooms and laundry areas. Subway tile, ceramic tile and hardwood flooring provide a warm welcome to family and guests. Our design team worked out dramatic improvements in both style and function. Warm colors and luxurious fixtures, including a wonderful soaking bath bathed in natural light.
Throughout the living spaces are nods to Craftsman style with arches and millwork consistent with this architectural period.
