Airy and open best describes this sleek kitchen. Gegg Design & Cabinetry restructured and designed the space to better flow with the rest of the home. By removing walls and an old ceiling, a more desirable layout could be achieved. Keeping the kitchen feeling open, minimal wall cabinets were used. In their place dark finished walnut drawers store the homeowners’ dishes and glasses. Simple door style and linear lines evoke the sleek and uncluttered look. The dark finished cabinets make the honed quartz countertops stand out. The shape and size of the island is replicated on the ceiling in the architectural sculpted panel. A floor-to-ceiling pantry mimics the style of the original home built-ins.
